Spicy Steamed Chicken With Quinoa

Spicy steamed chicken with Quinoa. A great lunch option that is easy to make, full of nutrition, and great in taste.

Ingredients:

  • Organic Chicken Breast
  • Sea Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Quinoa
  • Spinach
  • Organic Apple
  • Olive Oil

 

Method:

  1. Steam 6-8oz of Organic Chicken Breast
  2. Season in light sea salt, pepper, paprika, and a bit of Italian.
  3. Cook 1/4 cup of Quinoa on low heat for about 8 minutes.
  4. For fibrous vegetables, mix 1 cup of spinach with organic apple, and a drizzle of olive oil for healthy Omega fats.

There you have it, a healthy balanced lunch. High in lean protein, good amount of complex carbs to sustain energy levels, and small amount of good healthy fats.

This is what I usually have for lunch, sometimes I replace chicken with Salmon or White fish, and carbs are sometimes replaced with Brown Rice or Sweet Potato. Recently, I have been eating a lot of Quinoa since its the most nutritious carb source with the biggest bang for the buck. Quinoa is full of nutrients and minerals and quite high in protein for a grain.
