Another amazing thing to note is that muscles burns 3 times more calories than fat. It is also interesting to know that our body has approximately 60,000 miles of blood vessels that oxygenate the tissues, unburden the body of waste and act as stringent body regulators.

Interestingly enough, the infographic also shows important statistics! Did you know that an average person walks about 70,000 miles during his lifetime? What is astonishing is that although 69% of men consider themselves as physically fit, only 13% of them actually are. Another shocking revelation is that nearly 50% of young people aged 12-21 years old are not vigorously active on a regular basis. It was also mentioned that about 30.3% of children aged 6 to 11 are overweight and 15.3% are obese.  These are alarming statistics and something we should lookout for to stay healthy.
